A quick and easy tuna quiche recipe that can be prepared in just 10 minutes, perfect for a weeknight meal.
Ingredients
- 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 1 pre-made pie crust (9-inch)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Add the drained tuna, shredded cheese, and frozen mixed vegetables to the egg mixture. Stir gently to combine.
- Pour the mixture into the pre-made pie crust, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is set and lightly golden on top.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- For a crustless version, simply grease a pie dish and pour the mixture directly into it, reducing the baking time by about 5-10 minutes.
- Feel free to substitute the tuna with cooked chicken or diced ham for a different flavor profile.
