4-Ingredient Oreo Caramel Crunch Bars are irresistible treats made with simple ingredients that combine the flavors of Oreo cookies, caramel, and chocolate.
Ingredients
- 1 package (15.25 oz) Oreo cookies
- 1 cup (8 oz) caramel sauce
- 1 cup (6 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup (4 oz) crispy rice cereal
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.
- In a food processor, crush the Oreo cookies until they are fine crumbs. Reserve 1/4 cup of the crumbs for topping.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and crispy rice cereal. Pour in the caramel sauce and mix until everything is well coated.
- Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the Oreo mixture and spread it evenly. Sprinkle the reserved Oreo crumbs on top.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until the chocolate is set.
- Once set, lift the bars out of the dish using the parchment paper and cut into squares.
Notes
- For a nutty twist, add 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (like pecans or almonds) to the mixture before pressing it into the baking dish.
- Substitute the semi-sweet chocolate chips with white chocolate chips for a different flavor profile.
