Ingredients
3 sirloin steaks (approximately 1 inch thick)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon steak seasoning (store-bought or a blend of rosemary, thyme, parsley, garlic powder, and salt)
Instructions
-
Bring Steaks to Room Temp:
Let steaks sit out for 30 to 45 minutes before cooking to ensure even doneness. -
Preheat the Air Fryer:
Set your air fryer to 400°F. If there’s no preheat function, run it empty at 400°F for 5 minutes. -
Season Steaks:
Lightly oil the air fryer basket. Brush both sides of each steak with olive oil and season generously with steak seasoning. -
Air Fry the Steaks:
Place steaks in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding; cook in batches if needed.
Air fry at 400°F for 4 minutes. Flip, then cook an additional 4 minutes for medium doneness. -
Check for Preferred Doneness:
-
Rare: 125°F
-
Medium-Rare: 135°F
-
Medium: 145°F
-

Rest Before Serving:
Remove steaks and let rest for 5 minutes to allow juices to redistribute. Optionally, top with garlic herb butter or your favorite finishing sauce.
Notes
-
For extra flavor, marinate the steaks for 1–2 hours before air frying.
-
Use a meat thermometer for the most accurate doneness.
-
Ribeye, strip steak, or filet mignon can also be used—just adjust time for thickness.
-
Serve with roasted veggies, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad.
