Ingredients
- 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
- 1 medium apple, diced (preferably a crisp variety like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped (optional)
- Lettuce leaves for serving (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the drained tuna, diced apple, chopped celery, and chopped red onion.
- In a separate small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pour the dressing over the tuna mixture and gently stir until everything is evenly coated.
