Description
Bacon Caramel Cheesecake Bliss is a decadent dessert that combines the rich flavors of cheesecake with the savory crunch of bacon and the sweetness of caramel.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup caramel sauce, plus extra for drizzling
- 4 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F.
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Mix until well combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with ½ cup of sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the sour cream, caramel sauce, crumbled bacon, and a pinch of salt until just combined.
- Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
- Turn off the oven and crack the door open, allowing the cheesecake to cool in the oven for 1 hour.
- Remove from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Before serving, drizzle additional caramel sauce on top and sprinkle with extra crumbled bacon for garnish.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, try using maple bacon instead of regular bacon.
- You can also substitute the caramel sauce with chocolate sauce for a different twist.
