Description

Bacon Caramel Cheesecake Bliss is a decadent dessert that combines the rich flavors of cheesecake with the savory crunch of bacon and the sweetness of caramel.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup caramel sauce, plus extra for drizzling
  • 4 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with ½ cup of sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Stir in the sour cream, caramel sauce, crumbled bacon, and a pinch of salt until just combined.
  7. Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
  9. Turn off the oven and crack the door open, allowing the cheesecake to cool in the oven for 1 hour.
  10. Remove from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  11. Before serving, drizzle additional caramel sauce on top and sprinkle with extra crumbled bacon for garnish.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, try using maple bacon instead of regular bacon.
  • You can also substitute the caramel sauce with chocolate sauce for a different twist.
