Description

Baked Caesar Chicken is a delicious and easy-to-make dinner that combines the flavors of Caesar salad with tender chicken breasts, topped with a crispy breadcrumb and cheese crust.


Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound)
  • 1 cup Caesar salad dressing
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the Caesar dressing, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour half of the Caesar dressing mixture over them, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. In another bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs and half of the Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
  5. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the chicken breasts, pressing down lightly to adhere.
  6. Drizzle the remaining Caesar dressing over the top of the breadcrumbs and sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  8. If desired, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes to achieve a golden brown crust.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if using.
