Description

Baked Cauliflower Parmesan is a delicious and healthy dish that combines roasted cauliflower with marinara sauce and melted cheese, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium heads of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender and lightly browned.
  4. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and pour the marinara sauce over the roasted cauliflower. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses evenly on top.
  5. Add dried oregano and red pepper flakes, if using. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.

Notes
