Description

A rich and creamy cheesecake infused with the flavors of banana, caramel, and nuts, perfect for dessert lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup caramel sauce, divided
  • ½ cup chopped nuts (such as walnuts or pecans)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with 1 cup of sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Stir in the mashed bananas, ½ cup of caramel sauce, and ground cinnamon until fully incorporated.
  7. Pour the cheesecake batter over the cooled crust in the springform pan. Sprinkle the chopped nuts evenly on top.
  8. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
  9. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for an additional hour to cool gradually.
  10. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature.
  11. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to set completely.
  12. Before serving, drizzle the remaining ½ cup of caramel sauce over the top.

Notes

  • For a chocolate twist, add ½ cup of cocoa powder to the cheesecake batter.
  • For a lighter version, substitute low-fat cream cheese and Greek yogurt for a portion of the cream cheese.
