Description

Banana Pudding Brownies are a delicious dessert that combines the rich flavors of brownies with the creamy sweetness of banana pudding, topped with mini marshmallows and crushed vanilla wafers.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup vanilla pudding mix (instant)
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup crushed vanilla wafers

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar, mixing until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the mashed bananas until evenly distributed.
  6. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  7. In a separate bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth. Pour the pudding over the brownie batter, spreading it gently.
  8. Sprinkle the mini marshmallows and crushed vanilla wafers on top of the pudding layer.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the brownie layer comes out mostly clean.
  10. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before slicing into squares.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, try adding 1/2 cup of chocolate chips to the brownie batter.
  • For a fun twist, substitute the vanilla pudding with banana cream pudding for an extra banana flavor.
