Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 banana, mashed
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 1 banana, sliced (for garnish)
- 1/4 cup crushed vanilla wafers (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and mashed banana until well combined.
- Gradually add the Rice Krispies cereal to the marshmallow mixture, stirring until the cereal is evenly coated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until thickened. Fold in the whipped topping until fully combined.
- In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spread half of the Rice Krispies mixture evenly across the bottom.
- Pour the pudding mixture over the Rice Krispies layer, spreading it evenly.
- Top the pudding layer with the remaining Rice Krispies mixture, pressing down gently to create an even layer.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to set.
- Before serving, garnish with banana slices and crushed vanilla wafers on top.
