Description
A delicious and layered dessert combining bananas, whipped cream, vanilla pudding, and chocolate syrup, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup chocolate syrup
- 1 cup crushed graham crackers
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
- Maraschino cherries for topping
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth. Refrigerate for about 5 minutes until it thickens.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until well combined.
- In a large trifle dish or individual serving cups, layer half of the crushed graham crackers at the bottom.
- Add half of the sliced bananas on top of the graham crackers, followed by half of the crushed pineapple.
- Spoon half of the pudding mixture over the pineapple, then drizzle with half of the chocolate syrup.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining graham crackers, bananas, pineapple, pudding mixture, and chocolate syrup.
- Top the trifle with sliced strawberries and sprinkle with chopped walnuts if desired.
- Finish with a generous dollop of whipped cream and top each serving with a maraschino cherry.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
- For a lighter version, use low-fat pudding mix and whipped topping instead of heavy cream.
- Add a layer of your favorite ice cream between the pudding and fruit layers for an extra indulgent treat.
