Delicious and spicy Bang Bang Chicken Skewers that are perfect for grilling and packed with flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes if using.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the chicken cubes and toss to coat evenly.
- Thread the chicken onto the skewers.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- While the chicken is grilling, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice in a small bowl.
- Once the chicken is done, remove from the grill and drizzle with the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the spice mixture for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
- You can also substitute shrimp or tofu for a different protein option.
