Broccoli Cheddar Chicken Rolls are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that combines shredded chicken, fresh broccoli, and creamy cheddar cheese wrapped in crescent roll dough.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 1 cup fresh broccoli florets, steamed and chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, steamed broccoli, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place about 2 tablespoons of the chicken and broccoli mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling. Pinch the edges to seal.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds if using.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the filling.
- You can substitute the broccoli with spinach or mixed vegetables for a different flavor profile.
