Buffalo Chicken Thighs are crispy, flavorful chicken thighs coated in a spicy buffalo sauce, perfect for a delicious meal.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the hot sauce, melted butter, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the sauce mixture.
- Place the chicken thighs skin-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and the skin is crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the sauce mixture.
- Serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing for a classic pairing.
