Description

Delicious Butterfinger Caramel Cheesecake Bars that combine creamy cheesecake with a buttery graham cracker crust and a rich caramel topping.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup caramel sauce, divided
  • 1 cup Butterfinger candy bars, crushed (about 45 bars)
  • 1 cup whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Mix until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with ½ cup of sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Add the egg and mix until just combined.
  4. Pour half of the caramel sauce into the cream cheese mixture and stir to combine. Fold in the crushed Butterfinger candy bars.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust. Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce on top and use a knife to swirl it gently into the cheesecake layer.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly. Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  7. Cut into bars and top with whipped topping before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, try adding a pinch of sea salt to the caramel sauce before drizzling it on top.
  • You can substitute the Butterfinger bars with your favorite candy bars like Snickers or Reese’s for a different twist.
