Ingredients
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup butterscotch pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form a crust.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool completely.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
- Spread this mixture evenly over the cooled crust.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the butterscotch pudding mix and milk until thickened, about 2 minutes.
- Pour the pudding over the cream cheese layer and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle butterscotch chips on top.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the layers to set properly.
- Cut into squares and serve chilled.
Notes
- For a chocolate twist, substitute chocolate pudding mix for the butterscotch pudding.
- You can also add chopped nuts, like pecans or walnuts, to the crust for added texture.
