Description

Butterscotch Lush is a creamy dessert layered with a graham cracker crust, a rich cream cheese filling, and a butterscotch pudding topping, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup butterscotch pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butterscotch chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form a crust.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool completely.
  5. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  6. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  7. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
  8. Spread this mixture evenly over the cooled crust.
  9. In a separate bowl, whisk together the butterscotch pudding mix and milk until thickened, about 2 minutes.
  10. Pour the pudding over the cream cheese layer and spread it evenly.
  11. Sprinkle butterscotch chips on top.
  12. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the layers to set properly.
  13. Cut into squares and serve chilled.

Notes

  • For a chocolate twist, substitute chocolate pudding mix for the butterscotch pudding.
  • You can also add chopped nuts, like pecans or walnuts, to the crust for added texture.
