Description

Cabbage and Beef Burgers are a delicious and healthy twist on traditional burgers, packed with flavor and nutrients.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 cups green cabbage, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped cabbage, onion, garlic, egg, salt, black pepper, paprika, and oregano. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  3. Form the mixture into burger patties, about 1/2 inch thick. You should get approximately 6 patties.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
  5. Transfer the browned patties to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Remove from the oven and let the burgers rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the meat mixture.
  • Serve the burgers with your favorite toppings, such as avocado, cheese, or a dollop of sour cream for added flavor.
