Description

Enjoy the bold, irresistible flavors of a traditional Southern shrimp boil without the fuss! Juicy shrimp, tender potatoes, smoky sausage, and sweet corn combine perfectly in this easy air fryer recipe. Ready in under 30 minutes, it’s perfect for busy weeknights or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb raw jumbo shrimp (peeled and deveined; tails on or off)

  • 2 ears corn, husked and cut into 5 rounds each

  • 8 oz new potatoes, scrubbed and quartered

  • 6 oz andouille sausage, sliced into 1-inch rounds (or any smoked sausage)

  • 4 tbsp butter, melted

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 tsp Old Bay seasoning

  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat: Spray the air fryer basket lightly with cooking spray. Preheat air fryer to 370˚F.

  2. Prepare Ingredients: Pat shrimp dry. Combine corn, potatoes, and sausage in one bowl; set shrimp aside separately.

  3. Mix Seasonings: Combine melted butter, garlic, Old Bay, and cayenne pepper.

  4. Coat Ingredients: Toss shrimp with ¼ of butter mixture. Toss remaining butter with potato, corn, and sausage mixture.

  5. Cook Vegetables and Sausage: Place potato mixture in air fryer basket and cook at 370˚F for 10 minutes, shaking basket halfway.

  6. Add Shrimp: Place shrimp in basket and cook an additional 4 minutes or until shrimp are pink and opaque.

  7. Serve: Transfer to a serving platter, garnish with lemon wedges, and enjoy immediately!

Notes

  • Adjust cayenne pepper to control spice level.

  • Ensure potatoes are cut into small, even pieces for even cooking.

  • Serve over newspaper-lined platter for an authentic boil experience.
