Description
Campfire Banana Boats are a fun and delicious dessert made by grilling bananas stuffed with marshmallows and chocolate.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Aluminum foil
Instructions
- Preheat your campfire or grill to medium heat.
- Slice each banana lengthwise, leaving the peel on. Be careful not to cut all the way through.
- Gently open the banana slightly to create a pocket.
- Stuff the pocket with mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, and chopped nuts if using.
- Wrap each banana in aluminum foil, sealing it tightly.
- Place the wrapped bananas on the campfire coals or grill for about 5-10 minutes, until the chocolate and marshmallows are melted.
- Carefully remove the foil (it will be hot!) and enjoy your gooey treat right from the peel.
Notes
- For a fun twist, try adding peanut butter or caramel sauce inside the banana before wrapping it.
- Use different types of chocolate chips, like white chocolate or butterscotch, for a unique flavor.
