Description

A festive and delicious Candy Cane Cream Pie perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups crushed graham crackers
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup crushed candy canes (about 45 candy canes)
  • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • Extra crushed candy canes for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  2. Press the graham cracker mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan to form a crust. Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
  5. Fold in the crushed candy canes, reserving a small amount for garnish.
  6. Pour the filling into the cooled graham cracker crust and smooth the top. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  7. Before serving, top with whipped topping and sprinkle with extra crushed candy canes for garnish.

Notes

  • For a chocolate twist, use chocolate graham crackers for the crust or drizzle melted chocolate over the top before adding the whipped topping.
  • Substitute the peppermint extract with other flavors like vanilla or almond for a different taste profile.
