Description

Caramel Crush Bars Dessert is a delightful treat that combines the flavors of graham crackers, chocolate, and nuts, topped with a creamy condensed milk layer.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined and crumbly.
  3. Press the graham cracker mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form a crust.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until smooth.
  5. Pour the condensed milk mixture over the graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the chocolate chips, shredded coconut, and chopped nuts over the top of the condensed milk layer.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  8. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely in the baking dish. For best results, refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.
  9. Once chilled, cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • For a chocolatey twist, use chocolate graham crackers instead of regular ones for the crust.
  • Add a layer of caramel sauce on top before serving for extra sweetness and flavor.
