Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 15-20 minutes until the onions are soft and caramelized.
  2. Stir in the balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.
