Description

A creamy and cheesy cauliflower dish baked to perfection, perfect as a side or main dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 heads of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the cauliflower florets and cook for about 5 minutes until slightly tender. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce heat and stir in the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses until melted and smooth.
  5. Combine the cooked cauliflower with the cheese sauce, mixing well to coat all the florets.
  6. Pour the cauliflower mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a smoky flavor, add 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika.
  • You can substitute the cauliflower with broccoli or a mix of both for a different taste and texture.
