Description
A delicious and easy-to-make Cheeseburger French Fry Bake that combines the flavors of a cheeseburger with crispy French fries.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 cups frozen French fries
- 1/4 cup sliced pickles (optional)
- 1/4 cup mustard (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and diced onion to the skillet. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the onion is softened.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well and remove from heat.
- In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spread half of the frozen French fries evenly across the bottom.
- Pour the beef mixture over the fries, spreading it out evenly.
- Top with the remaining French fries and sprinkle the rest of the cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the fries are golden brown and crispy.
- If using, add sliced pickles and mustard on top before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños to the beef mixture.
- Substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
