Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can (15 ounces) green beans, drained
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until the beef is fully cooked and the onions are translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes (with juice), green beans, cooked rice, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let it simmer for about 5 minutes to combine the flavors.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
