Description

Cheesy Beef Slider Bake is a simple and delicious comfort food that combines ground beef, cheese, and slider buns for a delightful meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika. Remove from heat and mix in half of the cheddar cheese.
  4. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Spread the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard evenly over the buns.
  6. Spoon the beef mixture over the buns, then top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  7. Place the top halves of the buns on the beef and cheese layer.
  8. If using, sprinkle sesame seeds over the top of the buns.
  9. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the tops are golden brown.
  11. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing into individual sliders. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños to the beef mixture.
  • For a vegetarian option, substitute the ground beef with cooked lentils or a plant-based meat alternative.
