Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 12 slider buns
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika. Remove from heat and mix in half of the cheddar cheese.
- Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Spread the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard evenly over the buns.
- Spoon the beef mixture over the buns, then top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
- Place the top halves of the buns on the beef and cheese layer.
- If using, sprinkle sesame seeds over the top of the buns.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the tops are golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing into individual sliders. Serve warm.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños to the beef mixture.
- For a vegetarian option, substitute the ground beef with cooked lentils or a plant-based meat alternative.
