Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or meal that combines tender chicken, creamy cheese, and flaky crescent roll dough.
Ingredients
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles on a clean surface.
- Place a generous tablespoon of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling. Pinch the edges to seal.
- Place the rolled crescent rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper or some diced jalapeños to the filling.
- Substitute the cheddar cheese with mozzarella or pepper jack for a different flavor profile.
