Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh mussels, cleaned and debearded
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  3. Place the cleaned mussels in a single layer on a baking sheet. Spoon the cheesy mayo mixture generously over each mussel.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
