A delicious and creamy dish featuring Brussels sprouts and bacon, perfect for a keto diet.
Ingredients
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
- Add the halved Brussels sprouts to the skillet and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they start to brown.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Add the sautéed Brussels sprouts and cooked bacon to the cheese mixture. Stir until the Brussels sprouts are evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the cheese mixture.
- You can substitute the Brussels sprouts with cauliflower florets for a different flavor and texture.
