Description
A delicious Chicken Bacon Ranch Stromboli filled with shredded chicken, crispy bacon, and gooey mozzarella cheese, all wrapped in pizza dough and baked to perfection.
Ingredients
- 1 pound refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, about 12×16 inches.
- In a bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, mozzarella cheese, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until well combined.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the rolled-out pizza dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
- Starting from one long side, carefully roll the dough into a tight log, sealing the edges as you go.
- Place the rolled stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the top with the beaten egg.
- Cut a few slits in the top of the stromboli to allow steam to escape.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes to the chicken mixture.
- Substitute the ranch dressing with blue cheese dressing for a different flavor profile.
