Description
A decadent dessert featuring layers of brownie bites, chocolate pudding, caramel sauce, and whipped cream, topped with chocolate chips and nuts.
Ingredients
- 2 cups brownie bites (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, prepare the chocolate pudding by whisking together the pudding mix and milk until smooth. Refrigerate for about 5 minutes to thicken.
- In a large trifle dish or individual serving cups, layer half of the brownie bites at the bottom.
- Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the brownie layer.
- Spoon half of the chocolate pudding over the caramel layer.
- Add half of the whipped cream on top of the pudding layer.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining brownie bites, caramel sauce, chocolate pudding, and whipped cream.
- Finish by sprinkling chocolate chips and chopped nuts on top for garnish.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add a layer of crushed chocolate cookies between the layers.
- Substitute the caramel sauce with raspberry or strawberry sauce for a fruity twist.
