Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups crushed graham crackers
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 1 cup chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup caramel sauce, divided
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine crushed graham crackers and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form the crust.
- In another bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping until well combined. Spread this mixture over the graham cracker crust.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until thickened. Spread the chocolate pudding over the cream cheese layer.
- Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the chocolate pudding layer, then sprinkle half of the chopped pecans and chocolate chips on top.
- Repeat the layers: spread the remaining cream cheese mixture, followed by the chocolate pudding, and drizzle the remaining caramel sauce. Top with the remaining pecans and chocolate chips.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Slice into squares and serve chilled.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, try using dark chocolate pudding instead of regular chocolate pudding.
- You can also substitute the pecans with walnuts or almonds for a different nutty taste.
