Description

Chocolate Caramel Turtle Lasagna is a delicious layered dessert featuring a graham cracker crust, cream cheese filling, chocolate pudding, caramel sauce, and topped with pecans and chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups crushed graham crackers
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 cup chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup caramel sauce, divided
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine crushed graham crackers and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form the crust.
  2. In another bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping until well combined. Spread this mixture over the graham cracker crust.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until thickened. Spread the chocolate pudding over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the chocolate pudding layer, then sprinkle half of the chopped pecans and chocolate chips on top.
  5. Repeat the layers: spread the remaining cream cheese mixture, followed by the chocolate pudding, and drizzle the remaining caramel sauce. Top with the remaining pecans and chocolate chips.
  6. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  7. Slice into squares and serve chilled.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, try using dark chocolate pudding instead of regular chocolate pudding.
  • You can also substitute the pecans with walnuts or almonds for a different nutty taste.
