Description

Chocolate Lasagna is a delicious no-bake dessert that combines layers of cream cheese, chocolate pudding, and crushed cookies for a delightful treat.


Ingredients

  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces whipped topping, thawed
  • 2 cups chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 packages (3.9 ounces each) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 ½ cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Fold in the whipped topping until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies and melted butter. Mix until the cookies are evenly coated.
  4. Press the cookie mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form a crust.
  5. Pour the milk into another bowl and add the instant chocolate pudding mix. Whisk for about 2 minutes until the pudding thickens.
  6. Spread half of the pudding mixture over the cookie crust.
  7. Layer half of the cream cheese mixture over the pudding. Sprinkle ¾ cup of chocolate chips on top.
  8. Repeat the layers with the remaining pudding, cream cheese mixture, and finish with the remaining chocolate chips.
  9. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  10. Cut into squares and serve chilled.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, consider adding a layer of crushed nuts between the layers.
  • You can also substitute the chocolate sandwich cookies with graham crackers for a different taste.
