Description
A delicious and easy-to-make Chocolate M&M’s and Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream Cake that combines layers of cookie dough, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate treats.
Ingredients
- 2 cups chocolate chip cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 cup M&M’s candies
- 1 cup chocolate fudge sauce
- 1 cup whipped cream
- Chocolate shavings or sprinkles for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. If using homemade cookie dough, prepare it according to your recipe and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Let cool completely.
- In a 9-inch springform pan, press half of the cookie dough into the bottom to form a crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool.
- Once the crust is cool, spread half of the softened vanilla ice cream over the cookie dough layer. Sprinkle half of the mini chocolate chips and half of the M&M’s on top of the ice cream.
- Drizzle half of the chocolate fudge sauce over the M&M’s and chocolate chips.
- Repeat the layers by pressing the remaining cookie dough on top of the fudge sauce, followed by the remaining ice cream, mini chocolate chips, M&M’s, and fudge sauce.
- Cover the cake with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
- Before serving, remove the cake from the springform pan and top with whipped cream. Garnish with chocolate shavings or sprinkles if desired.
Notes
- For a different flavor, try using cookie dough ice cream instead of vanilla ice cream.
- Add a layer of crushed Oreos or graham crackers between the ice cream layers for added texture and flavor.
