Description

A delicious and easy-to-make Chocolate M&M’s and Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream Cake that combines layers of cookie dough, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate treats.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups chocolate chip cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup M&M’s candies
  • 1 cup chocolate fudge sauce
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • Chocolate shavings or sprinkles for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. If using homemade cookie dough, prepare it according to your recipe and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Let cool completely.
  2. In a 9-inch springform pan, press half of the cookie dough into the bottom to form a crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool.
  3. Once the crust is cool, spread half of the softened vanilla ice cream over the cookie dough layer. Sprinkle half of the mini chocolate chips and half of the M&M’s on top of the ice cream.
  4. Drizzle half of the chocolate fudge sauce over the M&M’s and chocolate chips.
  5. Repeat the layers by pressing the remaining cookie dough on top of the fudge sauce, followed by the remaining ice cream, mini chocolate chips, M&M’s, and fudge sauce.
  6. Cover the cake with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  7. Before serving, remove the cake from the springform pan and top with whipped cream. Garnish with chocolate shavings or sprinkles if desired.

Notes

  • For a different flavor, try using cookie dough ice cream instead of vanilla ice cream.
  • Add a layer of crushed Oreos or graham crackers between the ice cream layers for added texture and flavor.
