A festive and delightful Christmas Cake Tree Dip that is perfect for holiday gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup crushed gingerbread cookies
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup red and green sprinkles
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- Graham crackers or fruit for dipping
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and almond extract, mixing until well combined and fluffy.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
- Stir in the crushed gingerbread cookies, mini marshmallows, and half of the sprinkles and pecans (if using).
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and shape it into a Christmas tree shape using a spatula.
- Decorate the top of the dip with the remaining sprinkles and pecans.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve with graham crackers or fresh fruit for dipping.
Notes
- For a lighter version, use low-fat cream cheese and whipped topping.
- You can also substitute the gingerbread cookies with crushed sugar cookies for a different flavor profile.
