A festive dessert delight that combines layers of gingerbread cookies, cream cheese, and whipped topping, perfect for Christmas celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed gingerbread cookies
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 cup red and green M&M’s, divided
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed gingerbread cookies and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Fold in 1 cup of the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until well combined. Spread this mixture evenly over the crust in the baking dish.
  4. Layer the remaining whipped topping over the cream cheese layer.
  5. Sprinkle half of the M&M’s, mini marshmallows, and chocolate chips over the whipped topping layer. Drizzle with half of the caramel sauce.
  6. Repeat the layering process with the remaining cream cheese mixture, whipped topping, M&M’s, mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, and caramel sauce.
  7. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  8. Before serving, garnish with any remaining M&M’s and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
