Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed gingerbread cookies
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 cup vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup red and green M&M’s or holiday sprinkles for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine the crushed gingerbread cookies and melted butter. Mix until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool completely.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping until well combined. Spread this mixture evenly over the cooled cookie crust.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until it thickens, about 2 minutes. Spread the pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Top the pudding layer with the remaining whipped topping, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle ground cinnamon over the top for added flavor.
  5. Garnish with red and green M&M’s or holiday sprinkles. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
