Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and eggs to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, nuts, cranberries, marshmallows, and crushed peppermint candies until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. The centers may look slightly underbaked; they will firm up as they cool.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
