A festive and delightful dessert that combines layers of ricotta cheese, whipped cream, chocolate pudding, and crushed peppermint candies, perfect for the holiday season.
Ingredients
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups whipped cream (or 1 pint heavy cream, whipped)
- 1 cup crushed peppermint candies (or candy canes)
- 1 cup chocolate pudding (prepared)
- 1 cup crushed graham crackers
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract (optional)
- Red and green sprinkles (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy. If desired, add the peppermint extract for extra flavor. Set aside.
- In another bowl, fold the whipped cream into the ricotta mixture until well combined.
- In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread a layer of the crushed graham crackers on the bottom.
- Pour half of the milk over the graham crackers to moisten them.
- Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the graham crackers, followed by half of the chocolate pudding.
- Sprinkle half of the crushed peppermint candies over the pudding layer.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining graham crackers, milk, ricotta mixture, chocolate pudding, and crushed peppermint candies.
- Finish with a layer of whipped cream on top.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Before serving, garnish with red and green sprinkles for a festive touch.

- For a chocolatey twist, you can add a layer of chocolate shavings or use chocolate graham crackers instead of regular ones.
