Description

Delicious Churro Cheesecake Bars topped with cinnamon sugar, perfect for dessert lovers!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, 1/4 cup sugar, and salt. Mix until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add 1 cup sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs. Mix until fully combined and creamy.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the cheesecake layer.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly. Remove from the oven and let cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  7. Once chilled, drizzle the melted butter over the top and sprinkle with additional cinnamon sugar if desired. Cut into bars and serve.

Notes

  • For a chocolate twist, drizzle melted chocolate over the top before serving.
  • You can also add a layer of caramel sauce for extra sweetness.
