Description
A delicious and creamy Cinnamon Roll Honeybun Cheesecake that combines the flavors of cinnamon rolls and cheesecake for a perfect dessert.
Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- 1/2 cup mini cinnamon rolls (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F. Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar. Mix until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared springform pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the sour cream, cinnamon, and honey until smooth.
- Pour half of the cheesecake batter over the cooled crust. Scatter the mini cinnamon rolls and chopped pecans (if using) evenly over the batter. Pour the remaining cheesecake batter on top, smoothing it out with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
- Turn off the oven and crack the door, allowing the cheesecake to cool in the oven for 1 hour.
- Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, consider adding a layer of caramel sauce on top before serving.
- You can substitute the pecans with walnuts or omit them entirely for a nut-free version.
- For an extra touch, serve with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
