Description

Delicious and easy-to-make Classic Peach Cobbler Cheesecake Donuts that combine the flavors of peach cobbler and cheesecake in a delightful donut form.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup diced fresh peaches (or canned peaches, drained)
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for topping)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, combine the melted butter, buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Gently fold in the diced peaches.
  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. While the donuts are cooling, prepare the cheesecake filling by mixing the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth.
  8. Once the donuts are cool, use a piping bag or a small spoon to fill each donut with the cheesecake mixture.
  9. In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon for the topping. Roll the filled donuts in the cinnamon-sugar mixture for a sweet finish.
  10. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.

Notes

  • For a twist, try adding a tablespoon of chopped pecans or walnuts to the batter for added crunch.
  • You can also substitute the peaches with other fruits like blueberries or strawberries for a different flavor profile.
