Cowboy Butter Steak Sliders are a delicious and flavorful dish featuring grilled flank steak topped with a rich cowboy butter spread, served on toasted slider buns with fresh toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 slider buns
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sliced pickles
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together all the ingredients for the Cowboy Butter until well combined. Set aside.
  3. Rub the flank steak with olive oil, then season generously with salt and pepper.
  4. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  5. While the steak is resting, toast the slider buns on the grill until golden brown.
  6. Slice the steak thinly against the grain.
  7. Spread a generous amount of Cowboy Butter on the bottom half of each toasted slider bun.
  8. Layer the sliced steak on top of the butter, followed by shredded lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles.
  9. Top with the other half of the slider bun and serve immediately.
