Description

Cranberry Turkey Stuffing Balls are a must-try delight, combining the savory flavors of turkey and stuffing with the sweetness of cranberries.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 cups stuffing mix
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for baking)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, stuffing mix, chopped cranberries, onion, celery, parsley, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together chicken broth and egg. Pour this mixture into the turkey mixture and stir until everything is well combined.
  4. Using your hands, form the mixture into balls about 1.5 inches in diameter and place them on a greased baking sheet.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the top of the stuffing balls for added moisture and flavor.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the turkey is cooked through and the balls are golden brown.
  7. For extra crispiness, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of baking.
  8. Let the stuffing balls cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a twist, try adding chopped nuts like walnuts or pecans for added crunch.
  • You can also substitute the ground turkey with ground chicken or pork for a different flavor profile.
