Cranberry Turkey Stuffing Balls are a must-try delight, combining the savory flavors of turkey and stuffing with the sweetness of cranberries.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 cups stuffing mix
- 1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for baking)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, stuffing mix, chopped cranberries, onion, celery, parsley, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together chicken broth and egg. Pour this mixture into the turkey mixture and stir until everything is well combined.
- Using your hands, form the mixture into balls about 1.5 inches in diameter and place them on a greased baking sheet.
- Drizzle olive oil over the top of the stuffing balls for added moisture and flavor.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the turkey is cooked through and the balls are golden brown.
- For extra crispiness, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of baking.
- Let the stuffing balls cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a twist, try adding chopped nuts like walnuts or pecans for added crunch.
- You can also substitute the ground turkey with ground chicken or pork for a different flavor profile.
