Description
A refreshing and creamy apple salad that combines the crunch of apples and nuts with the sweetness of grapes and marshmallows, all coated in a delicious yogurt dressing.
Ingredients
- 3 medium apples, cored and diced (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work well)
- 1 cup seedless grapes, halved
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, halved grapes, chopped celery, chopped walnuts or pecans, and mini marshmallows.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, honey, lemon juice, and cinnamon until well combined.
- Pour the yogurt mixture over the fruit and nut mixture. Gently fold everything together until the ingredients are evenly coated.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled as a refreshing side dish or dessert.
Notes
- For a tropical twist, add diced pineapple or shredded coconut.
