Description

A delicious and creamy strawberry cheesecake recipe that is perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  6. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  7. Add the sour cream and lemon juice, and mix until smooth.
  8. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust, spreading it evenly.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
  10. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for an additional hour to cool gradually.
  11. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature.
  12. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  13. Before serving, top with sliced strawberries.

Notes

  • For a chocolate twist, drizzle melted chocolate over the top before serving.
  • You can substitute the strawberries with blueberries or raspberries for a different flavor.
