Description

Crispy Air Fryer Broccoli Cheddar Poppers are a delicious and healthy snack or appetizer that combines fresh broccoli and sharp cheddar cheese, all cooked to perfection in an air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh broccoli florets, finely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, shredded cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  3. Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls or patties, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  5. Place the broccoli cheddar poppers in a single layer in the basket, making sure they are not touching. You may need to cook in batches.
  6. Air fry the poppers for 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Halfway through cooking, shake the basket gently to ensure even cooking.
  7. Once cooked, remove the poppers from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm as a snack or appetizer.
