  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced (any color)
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced onion and stir-fry for about 2 minutes until it starts to soften.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the shredded cabbage, julienned carrots, and sliced bell pepper to the skillet. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and sugar. Pour this mixture over the vegetables and toss to combine.
  6. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to coat the vegetables evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped green onions.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
