Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and trim the stem. Place the cauliflower head upright on a cutting board and slice it into 3/4-inch thick steaks.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Brush both sides of each cauliflower steak with the olive oil mixture. If using, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top of the steaks.
  5. Arrange the cauliflower steaks on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy on the edges.
  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
