Ingredients
- 1 large head of cauliflower
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and trim the stem. Place the cauliflower head upright on a cutting board and slice it into 3/4-inch thick steaks.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Brush both sides of each cauliflower steak with the olive oil mixture. If using, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top of the steaks.
- Arrange the cauliflower steaks on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy on the edges.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately.

- For a spicy kick, add 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the olive oil mixture.
