  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Begin by heating vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs until well combined.
  4. Place the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  5. Dip each onion ring first into the flour mixture, coating it evenly, then into the beaten eggs, and finally into the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  6. Once all onion rings are coated, carefully place them in the hot oil in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove the onion rings from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
